Questioner: So you cannot call Lord Simandhar Swami a ‘Siddha Bhagwan' (the soul that attains complete liberation; one who has discharged all his karmas and has attained liberation from the physical body), can you?
Dadashri: No, you cannot. He is still present and therefore he is not a Siddha Bhagwan . Besides what do we have to do with a Siddha Bhagwan ? A Siddha Bhagwan would not even answer your questions, whereas the Tirthankar Bhagwan would; you get everything from them.
Questioner: Then what is the benefit of saying the obeisance of “ Namo Arihantanam ”? What is the benefit of saying “ Namo Siddhanam ”? What is the difference in benefits reciting these two namaskars (obeisance)?
'Dadashri: It is fine if you do not say ‘Siddhanam' , but you have to say “Namo Arihantanam” if you want to achieve Moksha (liberation).
Questioner: That means we reap benefits only when we say “Namo Arihantanam”. Does saying “Namo Siddhanam” not give any benefits?
Dadashri: No other benefits. You have to decide which station you want to reach. If you decide to go to Anand, then Anand station will be your destination (awareness, focus). Your awareness that you want to go to Moksha ; that you want to go to the Siddha Gati (ultimate domain of liberation) will always remain. However, as compared to anyone else, the Arihants are the most beneficial to you. Who is defined an Arihant? Only those who are living and present not the ones who are no longer around. They should be directly present here; therefore, our focus is on Simandhar Swami now. In fact, currently there are twenty Tirthankars but can you remember their names? Instead, you simply have to focus on the one who is the most important to us. Lord Simandhar Swami is the most important for Hindustan , you have to focus on Him and you have to surrender your life to Him.
