Goddess Ambika means spontaneous and natural prakruti . Every goddess has their rules and Mataji will be pleased if you obey them. I am the one and only ‘Lal' of goddess ‘Ambe'. ‘Lal' means son of Amba Mataji. (Dada's name is Ambalal. Amba + lal). If you were to go to her with my note, she would accept it. When you have a son and a servant, your servant obeys your rules but your son does not, then would you not like the servant? You would! I have never broken Ambama's, Laxmiji's, or Sarasvati's rules. I constantly remain within their rules and that is why all the three goddesses remain pleased with me. You too should keep within their rules if you want to please them.
Questioner : What are the rules of Ambaji? We worship Ambamata a lot in our family but we do not know what her rules are.
Dadashri : What does ‘Ambaji Devi' mean? It suggests sahajta (spontaneity and naturalness). How can Ambaji be pleased with you if you lose your spontaneity and naturalness? Ambamataji is something special! She is Mataji ; she is a mother. The Bengalis refer to Her as ‘Durga' . All the goddesses have been given different names, but this goddess is tremendous. She is the whole prakruti . If there is a part that is the whole prakruti , then it is this Mataji . The Atma will become sahaj when the prakruti itself becomes sahaj . If either of the two moves towards spontaneity, they will both become sahaj .
Reward for worshipping Mataji!
Questioner : What benefit does one derive by worshipping Mataji – the goddess?
Dadashri : One's
prakruti (inherent nature) remains good and that is why he should worship
Mataji a lot.
Mataji's worship helps the
sansaris (non self-realized living the worldly life) because the physical body is a
prakrutik energy and
Mataji is the Goddess of
prakruti . Things become better through her grace.
