Questioner: There have been people like Ram, Krishna , Allah, Christ, and many other such beings. But if Simandhar Swami has been around for 150,000 years, why is there so much ignorance about Him?

Dadashri: Not just about Him, there has been ignorance about a lot of other beings too. It is all ignorance. The world is in darkness (of ignorance). Whatever you can see, is the amount of light created. Otherwise, it is all darkness. The universe is vast and there are many others like Simandhar Swami. Because of one's shortsightedness, everything appears to be dark. There are also great Indras ( Kings) and celestial beings, whose lifespan is 200,000 years. There are also jivas in the narkagati (the kingdom of hell) whose lifespan is also 200,000 years. There is no shortage of lifespan there. Lifespan is limited only in the human life form.
