Questioner: When we say, "Simandhar Swami Ne Nischaya Thi Namaskar Karu Chhoo," (I bow to Simandhar Swami through nischaya ) do we have to speak through nischaya (real) or through vyavahar (relative)?
Dadashri: Through nischaya. The body (the non-self) could be whatever, but we do not have anything to do with the body.
Questioner: So it is okay to say, "Simandhar Swami Ne Nischaya Thi Namaskar Karu Chhoo" ?
Dadashri: It is okay. 'Vyavahar' (relative activity) means through the body. Everything else in the namaskar vidhi is through vyvahar only. This alone ( Simandhar Swami Na Aseem Jai Jai Kar Ho ) is through nischaya .
Questioner: Is Dada Bhagwan's also through nischaya ?
Dadashri: Yes it is. Therefore, in reality, it is only here that you should do namaskar with nischaya . The bowing down that you do elsewhere is through vyavahar . Now there is nothing wrong in saying, "Nischaya thi Simandhar Swami" (to Simandhar Swami with nischaya ). It is a good thing. When you write 'nischaya' there, you have to write nischaya everywhere.
Questioner: Just as we sing, "Dada Bhagwan Na Aseem Jai Jai Kar Ho," can we also sing, "Simandhar Swami Na Aseem Jai Jai Kar Ho" ?
Dadashri: You can do that with pleasure. But the bliss you experience while saying, "Dada Bhagwan Na Jai Jai kar," you will not experience here because he is not pratyaksh (directly present). You cannot see him directly. You can say anything for Simandhar Swami because he is our highest Lord and will remain that way until we acquire liberation. I merely guide you and tell you that whatever you say about Him, you will be blessed.
Questioner: Yes, that is guiding us; it is fine.
Dadashri: All is all for pointing you in the right direction. What can one do when no one has pointed this out? They have all talked about it but no one has shown us and told us that you have to do it this way.
Questioner: I am asking you this because the other day when I was reciting it, someone told me that we could not recite it that way (with nischaya ).
Dadashri: No, there is nothing wrong in reciting that. You are not doing anything wrong or binding bad karmas by doing that. But it is very different if it is recited in the way the Gnani Purush tells you to. There is nothing wrong if you said it the other way and you do not have to do pratikraman for that. You will benefit even by saying Simandhar Swami's name.
